About
About the Study
The Early Stage T1D Education + Support (ESTES) research study aims to discover the best ways to educate families about type 1 diabetes (T1D). We focus on families who have a member with early-stage T1D or a recent Stage 3 diagnosis.
What’s Involved
The ESTES program seeks to help families understand early stage T1D, and help monitor for blood sugar changes using CGMs and/or blood glucose testing. Participants will also be invited to have (optional) oral glucose tolerance tests. It offers blood testing for type 1 diabetes, celiac disease, Addison's disease, and thyroid disease antibodies. We ask participants to complete surveys and provide feedback.
